The Kitakata Ramen Museum & Shrine celebrates this legacy, featuring exhibits and a unique shrine where a ramen bowl is enshrined. Beyond its culinary fame, Kitakata is home to approximately 4,000 traditional kura storehouses, many repurposed as shops, inns, and breweries, reflecting the city's historical significance.
