Archeological Site

Yoshinogari Historical Park, in Saga Prefecture, is Japan's largest and most significant Yayoi Period archaeological site (300 BC–300 AD). The park features reconstructed villages with pit dwellings, elevated storehouses, watchtowers, and shrines, offering an immersive glimpse into early Japanese life. Visitors can explore the Minami Naikaku settlement, thought to be the seat of early governance, interactive museums, and hands-on activities, all within a spacious park that also includes recreational and picnic areas.
