Kunen-an Spring Public Opening

Overview

Kunen-an is a stunning villa and garden in Kanzaki City, Saga Prefecture, typically open to the public for a limited time in the spring and autumn. Originally built by businessman Yataro Itami during the Meiji era, the meticulously designed 6,800 square meter garden features lush moss, vibrant maple trees, and azaleas. During the spring opening, visitors can immerse themselves in the fresh greenery and tranquil atmosphere. The garden is accessible via a 10-minute bus ride from JR Kanzaki Station, followed by a shuttle bus from Yoshinogari Historical Park. Admission is ¥400 for adults (high school age and older). Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available.
