Earliest Foliage
Mount Kurodake, part of the Daisetsuzan National Park offers Japan's earliest autumn foliage, with vibrant layers of red, yellow, and green decorating the slopes from early September. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the colorful landscape and, occasionally, a sea of clouds from the ropeway, which operates until mid-October.
