Top 3 shrine

Yutoku Inari Shrine, in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, is one of Japan's top three shrines dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of prosperity, rice, and foxes. Founded in 1687, the shrine's main hall is built 18 meters above the valley floor, resembling Kyoto’s Kiyomizudera Temple. Visitors can enjoy torii-covered trails leading to panoramic views, a garden with seasonal flowers, and a museum displaying feudal artifacts and local ceramics.
