Volcanic Peak

Mount Daisen, in Tottori Prefecture, is a 1729-meter volcanic peak and the tallest mountain in the Chugoku Region, revered for its natural beauty and spiritual significance. Part of Daisen-Oki National Park, it features trails leading to Daisenji Temple and Ogamiyama Shrine, important sites of mountain worship. Hikers can ascend to Misen Peak for stunning views, while the mountain also offers vibrant autumn foliage and excellent skiing in winter, making it a year-round destination.
