Pristine White Arc

Yumigahama Beach, situated at the southernmost point of the Izu Peninsula in Minamiizu, Shizuoka, is renowned for its graceful, bow-shaped shoreline stretching approximately 1 kilometer. Flanked by pine-covered hills and protected by capes on both ends, the beach offers calm, clear waters ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding. Its gentle waves and shallow gradient make it especially suitable for families with children. Recognized among Japan’s top 100 beaches, Yumigahama is also notable for its pristine white sand and high water transparency. During summer evenings, visitors might witness sea turtles coming ashore to lay eggs, adding to the beach's natural allure.
