The Mogami Gorge Basho Line offers a serene boat journey along the Mogami River, one of Japan's three fastest-flowing rivers. This 12 km cruise from Furukuchi to Kusanagi immerses visitors in seasonal landscapes—cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant foliage in autumn, and snow-blanketed vistas in winter. In colder months, boats are equipped with kotatsu (heated tables) for a cozy experience.
