Tondabayashi Jinaimachi is a well-preserved temple town dating back to the 16th century, featuring a grid of narrow streets lined with Edo-period machiya townhouses. The Old Sugiyama House, a prominent merchant residence from the mid-Edo period, showcases traditional architecture and has been designated an Important Cultural Property.
