Cape Osaki, also known as Osakibana, is a scenic cape located in Gotsu, Shimane Prefecture. This spot is known for its connection to the poet Kakinomoto no Hitomaro and offers beautiful coastal views, including a white lighthouse. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the maintained trails within the park, taking in the stunning scenery. The lighthouse area provides particularly picturesque views, especially towards the east. While direct vehicle access to the lighthouse is limited, a pleasant walk from the parking area allows for a good workout and the chance to appreciate the landscape. Be aware that some paths may be overgrown. Best time to visit is during the day to fully appreciate the coastal views.
