Tamanoshi is a sacred stone located within the Dogo Onsen Honkan in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. Legend says that the god Sukunahikona recovered from illness here and danced on the stone. Visitors can ladle hot spring water over the stone and pray for healing. It's easily accessible from JR Matsuyama Station via the Iyotetsu tram to Dogo Onsen Station. While the main building may be under construction, the stone is often still viewable. It's a quick stop, perfect for adding a touch of spiritual significance to your Dogo Onsen visit.
