The Yoshino Asamiya Site marks the location where Emperor Go-Daigo established his imperial residence after fleeing Kyoto. Though the original temple, Jitsujo-ji, no longer stands due to historical events, the site is now a serene park featuring a monument and a three-tiered pagoda. Visitors can explore the historical significance of the Southern Court and enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms in spring. Located near Kinpusen-ji Temple, it's accessible via a short ropeway ride from Kintetsu Yoshino Station (ropeway operates seasonally).
