Kinshuko Great Falls, also known as Yuda Sediment Control Dam, is a unique attraction where you can walk behind a waterfall! From July to early October, water cascades from the dam, creating a stunning curtain effect. Visitors can explore the inside of the falls, enjoying the refreshing spray and powerful sounds. In the evenings, the falls are illuminated as part of the Kinshuko Great Falls Light Up, recognized as a Japan Night View Heritage Site. Nearby, you'll find seasonal flowers at Kinshuko Kawashiri General Park, including irises and hydrangeas. Open from July 1st to October 10th, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but hours may change due to weather or water levels. It's easily accessible, just a 5-minute drive from Hotto Yuda Station.
