Carmel Beach Club, located in Shiga Prefecture on the shores of Lake Biwa, offers a scenic spot for relaxation and recreation. Easily accessible from Hira Station on the JR Kosei Line, this beach club provides a variety of activities including lakeside barbecues and water activities in the summer. Visitors can rent barbecue equipment and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Biwa. Open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (cafe hours 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM), it's a perfect destination for a day of fun by the lake. Note that the club is closed on Thursdays, except during July to September when it remains open daily.
