The Dogashima Tenshodo Cave is one of Dogashima's most iconic natural wonders. This unique cave features a ceiling with a natural skylight, creating a breathtaking scene as sunlight streams through, illuminating the waters below. Boat tours are available, offering a chance to explore inside the cave on calm days. As a designated geosite of the Izu Peninsula Geopark, recognized by UNESCO in April 2018, the cave's grandeur can be fully appreciated from the water. Located in Nishina, Nishiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, it is accessible by bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station or Shuzenji Station, or by car from Tomei Numazu IC/Shin-Tomei Nagaizumi Numazu IC. The cave is 147m long.
