Mizubasho Park, located at the foot of Mt. Sugana in Gosen City, is a natural haven showcasing stunning Asian skunk cabbage. Opened in March 1996, the park features a 480-meter wooden boardwalk winding through a 2.1-hectare wetland, home to approximately 30,000 skunk cabbage plants. The best time to visit is from late March to early April to witness the beautiful white bracts in bloom. The park is easily accessible by car (20 minutes from Yasuda IC via R290) or a short 10-minute taxi ride from JR Saruwada Station. Admission is free, and parking is available.
