The Yamamoto Isoroku Memorial Museum in Nagaoka, Niigata, is dedicated to the life and legacy of Admiral Yamamoto Isoroku. Located a 10-minute walk from JR Nagaoka Station, the museum showcases Yamamoto's personal history and character through artifacts and exhibits. A highlight is the wreckage of the aircraft he was aboard when it was shot down. Please wear a mask and contact the museum in advance of your visit. Note that admission may be restricted, and reservations for groups are not being accepted between August 1st and August 4th.
