Located in Tosu, Saga Prefecture, the Nakadomi Memorial Museum of Medicine, also known as the Kusuri Museum, is dedicated to the history of medicine and pharmaceuticals. Founded as part of the 145th-anniversary project of Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical, famous for Salonpas, the museum showcases the history of medicine in Japan, including the tradition of "Tashiro Baiyaku" (Tashiro medicine peddling) that originated in this area. Visitors can explore exhibits on traditional medicine manufacturing methods, rare crude drugs, and even a relocated 19th-century London pharmacy. The museum also features a medicinal herb garden. It's a quiet and educational spot, easily accessible from Tosu Premium Outlet.
