Gamagori City Museum

Overview

The Gamagori City Museum, located a 10-minute walk from JR Gamagori Station, offers free admission to explore the local history and culture. Key exhibits include a collection of lighting equipment (with 78 out of 500 pieces on display), archaeological, historical, and folk materials, and a designated Important Folk Cultural Property. Outdoors, visitors can see a preserved D-51 steam locomotive that was in service until 1973 and an relocated ancient tomb, both of which you can enter.
