Kasugayama Rinsen-ji Temple in Yonezawa, Yamagata, is a historic site moved by Uesugi Kagekatsu from Echigo Takada. It serves as the family temple for the Uesugi clan, housing the graves of Uesugi family wives and branch lords. Notable figures such as Naoe Kanetsugu and Nobukiyo, the sixth son of Takeda Shingen, are also buried here. Visitors can explore the serene grounds and learn about the Uesugi clan's history. The temple is accessible by bus from Yonezawa Station. Note that the temple is closed during winter from December to late March due to heavy snow.
