Located within Komoro's Kaikoen Park, near the main entrance at Sannomon Gate, the Komoro Shuseikan Museum offers a glimpse into the history of Komoro Castle and its lords. The museum showcases artifacts such as armor, weapons, and historical documents related to the Sengoku and Makino clans. Highlights include items associated with Sengoku Hidehisa and the Makino family, including calligraphy by Tokugawa Hidetada and statues linked to Tokugawa Iemitsu. It's a compact museum, ideal for a quick visit to enrich your understanding of the castle's past. Open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but closed on Wednesdays (except April-November) and during the New Year holidays. A combined ticket with Kaikoen Park is recommended for better value.
