Shirakaba Kogen International Ski Resort, located in Tateshina, Nagano, offers stunning views of the Northern Alps from its gondola lift. With an 80% chance of clear skies, it's a great destination for skiing and snowboarding (now allowed!). The resort features 7 slopes with a maximum incline of 30 degrees and a longest run of 5 km, catering to all skill levels (50% beginner, 40% intermediate, 10% advanced). Enjoy amenities like ski school, a kids' area, and on-site bathing facilities. Open from mid-December to late March. Easily accessible by car from the Suwa IC or by bus from Chino Station.
