The Nogata Tanao Art Museum, originally opened in 1992 by the late Kin'ya Tanio, is housed in a charming Western-style building dating back to the early Showa period. The museum features a renovated clinic with a modern annex added in 1998. In 2001, it reopened as the Nogata City Art Museum, showcasing a collection donated by Tanio's family. Located a 15-minute walk from Nogata Station, the museum offers an affordable cultural experience with an entrance fee of just ¥100 for adults. The museum also features a tea room and architectural elements that blend both Western and Japanese styles. Note that parking is available, but limited.
