The Shinkoro Tower, or Tatsukoro, is a historic clock tower and a symbol of Izushi, located in Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture. Originally built in 1871 as a drum tower to announce the time, it was later fitted with a clock in 1881, becoming one of Japan's oldest clock towers.
