The Ubkata Memorial Library in Numata City is dedicated to the works of Tatsue Ubkata, a renowned poet and honorary citizen. The library features a collection of poetry-related books, including Ubkata's own publications, literary works, and related exhibits. Visitors can also view historical books passed down through the Ubkata family, including a rare edition of 'Kaitai Shinsho' (New Book of Anatomy). Located at 199-1 Kaminomachi, Numata, it's an 8-minute drive from Numata IC on the Kanetsu Expressway or a short bus ride from Numata Station. Admission is ¥110 for adults; free for junior high school students and younger, as well as for those with disability certificates and one accompanying person.
