The Mt. O-kuni Panorama Promenade offers scenic hiking routes near Kitashiobara Village in Fukushima Prefecture. Starting from locations like Lavispa Urabandai, the trails lead towards Mt. O-kuni and the famed Nikko Kisuge flower fields of Lake O-kuni. Note that the eastern entrance has toilet facilities. Be aware of potential wildlife encounters, including bears and deer. The trails can be steep and humid in summer, so bring plenty of water. The full loop to Lake O-kuni requires considerable stamina.
