Fudo Falls (Urami Falls)

Overview

Located in Hoshi no Iwaya, Fudo Falls, also known as Urami Falls, offers a unique experience where visitors can walk behind the cascading water. The falls are approximately 15 meters high. To get there, take a 40-minute bus ride from Tokushima Station followed by a 40-minute walk. The site features a Fudo Myo-o carved into a camphor tree and a cliff-carved Fudo statue. Be cautious as the road to the falls is narrow, but the experience of viewing the waterfall from behind the overhanging rocks is rewarding. It's a great spot to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of Tokushima.
