The Kosakabegawa Dam, completed in 1954, is a gravity concrete dam located in Niimi, Okayama Prefecture. This dam, with a height of 67.2 meters and a crest length of 145 meters, serves the purpose of irrigation and power generation. Visitors can walk across the dam's crest to observe the downstream power generation facilities. The management office on the right bank provides dam cards (available from 9:00 to 17:00, including weekends and holidays) and informational displays. A small observation park is located near the dam, offering a closer look at the structure. Parking is available in front of the management office, and restrooms are located along the road slightly downstream.
