Tsuji no Fudaba

Overview

The Tsuji no Fudaba, located in front of Honmachi's Shimon-in Temple, served as a public notice board during the Marugame Domain era. It was used to post official announcements and edicts. This historical site, a designated cultural property of Kagawa Prefecture, showcases a traditional wooden structure with tiled roofing adorned with the Kyogoku family crest. Situated in the plaza behind the Nio Town Cultural Hall, it offers a glimpse into the region's past. Easily accessible by bus from Takuma Station, the Tsuji no Fudaba provides a unique opportunity to experience a piece of local history.
