Oyasukyo Gorge is a stunning V-shaped valley carved by the Minase River, offering breathtaking scenery in every season. Located in Yuzawa, Akita Prefecture, it's easily accessible by a 70-minute bus ride from Yuzawa Station. Visitors can marvel at the lush greenery in spring, vibrant foliage in autumn, and impressive icicles known as "Shigakko" in winter. Key attractions within the gorge include the Great Geyser and Fudo Falls. The gorge extends approximately 2.5 km with depths reaching about 60m. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the sometimes steep and wet walking paths.
