Akiba no Yu is a public bath located a bit away from the central area of Nozawa Onsen, near Oborozukiyo-no-yakata and Mt. Madarao Bunko. It's likely one of the highest-altitude public baths in the village, requiring a climb past Asagama and through a residential area. The bath itself is small, accommodating about four people, and the source water is extremely hot. Due to its location, it's less crowded, but be prepared for potentially scalding temperatures that may require adding cold water. The facility is open from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM between April and November, and from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM between December and March.
