The Catholic Hoki Church, established in 1898, is the oldest church on Hirado Island. This charming church features a unique blend of brick and wooden construction, highlighted by its striking red facade with white accents. Inside, visitors can admire the bat-wing ceiling, a common feature in Gothic churches, and beautiful stained glass windows. Located a 20-minute drive from Hirado Bridge, the church is nestled in a small village and offers a glimpse into the area's rich Christian heritage. Note that the road leading to the church can be narrow, so careful navigation is advised. Photography is prohibited inside the church to respect its sanctity.
