Dainichi-ji Temple, the 28th temple on the Shikoku Pilgrimage, is located in Konan City, Kochi Prefecture. Founded between 729 and 749, the temple is home to a wooden seated statue of Dainichi Nyorai and a wooden standing statue of Sho Kannon, both designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan.
