Overview

Designed by the renowned architect Tadao Ando, the Hill of the Buddha is a spiritual and photogenic masterpiece. The 13.5-meter Buddha statue is partially hidden within a lavender-covered hill, creating a sense of mystery and anticipation. Visit in July to witness the breathtaking purple carpet of 150,000 lavender flowers in full bloom, and experience a unique perspective walking up the hill to see the Buddha face-to-face.
