It marks one of the burial grounds for soldiers who died in the Battle of Sekigahara, ordered by Tokugawa Ieyasu. A vermilion gate stands at the entrance, leading to a tranquil, wooded area where the memorial is located. The site includes a stone monument and a well said to have been used for washing the heads of the fallen. Visit to pay respects to the warriors and reflect on the battle's history.
