Aonuma (Blue Pond) is the smallest of the Goshikinuma (Five Colored Ponds) in Urabandai, Fukushima Prefecture, known for its striking blue color. This unique hue is due to the presence of Ukamikamago moss and calcium sulfate in the water. The pond's color shifts with the seasons and weather, offering a different view each visit. Located near the Urabandai Local Products Museum, it's easily accessible via the Goshikinuma Nature Exploration Trail. The best light for viewing is typically in the morning or early afternoon. The surrounding area offers scenic walking paths and opportunities for photography.
