Shungaku-in Temple, located in Yamatokoriyama, Nara, is a serene temple with historical ties to Toyotomi Hidenaga, the younger brother of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Formerly known as Toko-ji Temple, it was renamed Shungaku-in after Hidenaga's death. The temple is known for housing a portrait of Toyotomi Hidenaga and documents related to the hako-moto system. Visitors can also see Hidenaga's burial mound nearby. Please note that reservations are required to visit. It's a quiet and historically significant spot for those interested in the Toyotomi clan.
