Koganezaki Park, designated a natural monument in 1988, is a scenic spot in Nishi-Izu known for its cliffs that gleam golden in the sunset. The park offers walking paths and observation decks to enjoy views of the Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji on clear days. A famous rock formation resembling a horse's head, known as Uma Rock (Horse Rock), is a highlight. The park is accessible by bus (75 minutes from the station) and offers free parking. Visit in the late afternoon to witness the golden cliffs during sunset.
