Saigyo Modoshi no Matsu Park offers panoramic views of Matsushima Bay, one of Japan's three most scenic views. Legend says the park is named after the priest Saigyo, who was turned back here. The park is a popular destination for cherry blossom viewing in spring, offering stunning vistas of the bay framed by cherry blossoms. A cafe within the park provides a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the scenery. Easily accessible by car with ample parking, it's a short walk to the Shiromi Kannon observation deck for the best views. Visit during the day to fully appreciate the landscape.
