Inoueyama Lily Village, located near Nishirenji Temple in Namegata, Ibaraki, is home to approximately 20,000 wild yamayuri lilies, making it one of the Kanto region's largest natural habitats for these flowers. The best time to visit is during the Lily Festival (mid to late July), when the lilies are in full bloom. During the festival, a 300 yen donation is required for adults, which includes local treats and hospitality. The village is accessible via a walking path from Nishirenji Temple, or a free shuttle bus from Kasumigaura Fureai Land during the festival. Note that the paths within the village can be steep and slippery, so appropriate footwear is recommended.
