Located within the Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine grounds, the Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall showcases the magnificent floats used in the Takayama Festival. Four of the eleven floats are rotated for display every four months, allowing visitors to appreciate the craftsmanship of these impressive structures up close. The adjacent Sakurayama Nikko Hall features a 1/10 scale model of the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, meticulously recreated with incredible detail. The exhibition hall is a 20-minute walk from Takayama Station. Admission is ¥1000 for adults, with discounts for students. Wheelchair accessible facilities are available.
