The Soma City Memorial Museum preserves the "original landscape" of Soma City before the earthquake through photos and videos, serving as a place of solace for bereaved families and conveying the city's past to future generations. Located near Haragama Obama Beach, the museum is easily accessible by car from Joban Expressway Shinchi IC or JR Soma Station. Exhibits include records of the earthquake, photos of pre-earthquake life, and items without identified owners. A statue from Bhutan and outdoor monuments offer additional points for reflection. Open daily (except year-end holidays) from 9:00 to 17:00, admission is free.
