Overview

Experience the Katsuyama Kenka Danjiri festival in Maniwa City, Okayama, held annually from October 18th to 20th. This vibrant autumn festival features nine elaborately decorated danjiri floats clashing head-on in the charming castle town of Katsuyama. The festival takes place around the Katsuyama town preservation district, easily accessible from JR Chugoku-Katsuyama Station (1-minute walk) or by car via the Chugoku Expressway (Ochiai IC, 20 minutes) or Yonago Expressway (Kuse IC, 15 minutes).
