Zokuishi Rock is a mysterious megalith located in Tono, Iwate Prefecture, about 10 km from Tono Station. Legend says the rock was placed by Benkei. The site is a 15-minute drive from the station, followed by a 10-minute walk up a mountain path. Visitors will be amazed by the precarious balance of the massive stone, which rests on only one of the two stones beneath it. The best time to visit is during daylight hours, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the mountain path.
