Ushtora Shrine, located a 15-minute walk from JR Onomichi Station, is the oldest shrine in Onomichi, reportedly established in 806. A highlight is the massive 900-year-old camphor tree, designated as a natural monument of Hiroshima Prefecture. The shrine is also known as a filming location for the anime "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time." Situated near the Senkoji Ropeway, the shrine offers a unique view with the ropeway passing overhead.
