Kawakura Sai no Kawara Jizo-son, located in Goshogawara City near Ashino Park, is a serene temple grounds featuring approximately 2,000 Jizo statues. Known for its connection to Itako spiritual mediums, similar to Mount Osore, the temple offers a unique and somewhat mystical atmosphere. The annual festival attracts many visitors from both within and outside the prefecture. The temple also features a hall dedicated to Japanese dolls offered for children who passed away young. It is a 20-minute walk from Tsugaru Railway's Ashino-Koen Station.
