Kaiseizan Grand Shrine, known as "Michinoku's Ise Shrine," was founded in 1876 as a spiritual anchor for those involved in the Asaka development project, with a portion of the spirit of Ise Grand Shrine enshrined here. Located next to Kaiseizan Park, it's easily accessible by bus from Koriyama Station or car via the Tohoku Expressway. The shrine is particularly vibrant during the New Year's and cherry blossom festivals. Visitors can explore the beautiful shrine grounds and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Note that the road between the park and shrine has heavy traffic, so exercise caution when crossing. Admission is free.
