Shiratama Falls, nestled in the Kanazu Hills, has been cherished by locals since the Juntoku Emperor's era (1210-1221). Once a training ground for mountain ascetics, it now serves as a refreshing summer retreat. The site features two waterfalls: the 15-meter-tall Otaki (male waterfall) and the 7-meter-tall Metaki (female waterfall). A viewing area near the rest facilities offers the best vantage point. Note that the path to the male waterfall can be steep. Open from May to November, with parking available.
Parking: Available for standard vehicles
