The Omura House, also known as the Omurake Jutaku, is one of the oldest buildings in the Yokaichi Gokoku district of Uchiko. Originally a dye and silk merchant's home, the house features distinctive elements like white plaster walls and 'mushiko-mado' (insect cage windows). While the interior is not open to the public, visitors can admire the well-preserved exterior and imagine life in this historic building.
