Explore the Historic Site Ennichiji Temple Ruins, founded approximately 1200 years ago by the eminent monk Tokuichi. Once a center of Aizu Buddhist culture, the temple was abandoned in the early Meiji era and later designated a national historic site in 1970. Today, visitors can see the restored Kondo (main hall) and Middle Gate, recreating the ancient ritual space envisioned by Tokuichi. Located in Bandai, Fukushima, it's a short drive from the Banetsu Expressway Bandai-Kawahigashi IC or a walk from Bandai-machi Station. Admission is ¥300 for adults (¥500 combined ticket with the Ennichiji Museum); free for high school students and younger.
